Top 50 K-Pop Idol Rappers

This is an updated list of the best Korean idol rappers in 2015.

Honorable Mentions

With hip-hop being a major theme in K-Pop nowadays, many rappers in the top 50 are probably idols who fans only knew for a year or 2. This also means that many idol rappers who were in the last top 50 did not make the cut for this year's top 50. Some of the rappers are BtoB's Ilhoon, Rainbow's Woori, and Hello Venus' Lime. In addition to these 3, some few surprises that did not make the cut are 2NE1's versatile Minzy, 4Minute's lead rapper Jiyoon, and GOT7's deep voiced Mark.

Top idol groups in terms of rapping

As mentioned before, many new K-Pop groups debut every year, and many of these groups follow the hip-hop trend, therefore, the groups' companies create "rappers" for this sole reason. Every group out there has at least 2 rappers, but not all of them have the skills to be called a "rapper".

Seven Seasons' Block B, which debuted under Stardom Entertainment, is an example of a K-Pop idol group which has rappers whose skill rival those of the underground hip-hop scene. Block B's Zico and Kyung in particular, are rappers who are deeply respected in both the mainstream world and the underground scene.

Some other groups which boast of their rapping skills are Big Bang, Winner, and iKON from YG Entertainment, one of the biggest companies in South Korea. 2 of YG's rappers are world-famous G-Dragon and hip-hop competition TV series "Show Me The Money" winner Bobby

Other groups which are known for their skilled rappers are Big Hit Entertainment's Bangtan Boys (BTS) which has 4 rappers, TS Entertainment's B.A.P, Stardom Entertainment's Topp Dogg, Starship Entertainment's Monsta X, and Jungle Entertainment's M.I.B.
